June 25th 2017: Rev. Fr. Anthony Peter took charge as the Parish Priest as well as Shrine Rector of Our Lady of Victories Church/Shrine. At 8 a.m. Parishioners together with outgoing Parish Priest Fr. Franklin D'Souza welcomed Fr. Anthony Peter at the main gate.
At the Church Fr. Stany D'Souza delegate of Bishop led the ceremony of taking charge of the parish. Fr. Franklin handed over Stole, Holy Bible,Tabernacle key as well as Parish details of the people as well as accounts to Fr. Anthony Peter. Parish Council members received lighted candle from new Parish Priest. After which Fr. Anthony Peter celebrated Holy Eucharist. Fr. Franklin D'Souza preached a homily on "Call and our response to the call of God".
After the Holy Mass Fr. Franklin D'Souza welcomed Fr. Anthony Peter on behalf of the Parishioners. Parish Council members organised a short farewell program for outgoing Parish Priest Fr. Franklin D'Souza and welcoming program for Fr. Anthony Peter. Parish Council Secretary Ms. Leena Suvares led the program and Parish Council members did the felicitation. Assistant Priest Fr. Anil Kumar OFM CAP organised the program.
